- He wrote his dissertation on the Vampire and Victorian Popular Fiction and focused upon the Penny Dreadful, Varney The Vampire.
- Research Interests: Victorian Fiction, Gothic Literature, Drama, and Gay and Lesbian Studies.
- Courses: Gothic Literature, British Literature, Contemporary British and Irish Literature, Victorian Sensation Fiction, Development of the Drama, and Contemporary Gay and Lesbian Literature.
- He has written several critical editions of Gothic and Victorian novels for Zittaw Press, Valencourt Books, and Whitlock Press, including Elizabeth Bonhote’s Bungay Castle, Mrs. Carver’s The Horrors of Oakendale Abbey, Ellen Wood’s Danesbury House, and two novels by Victorian best-seller Marie Corelli, Ziska, and Vendetta.
